Angel Tree Donations and Toy Drive

Kopperl Community: 

The Kopperl NHS students are asking for monetary donations for their Angle Tree Project.  The NHS is involved in many service projects which help to give back to our community.  The students provide Thanksgiving Baskets to families and we do the Angel Tree Project.

For the past 10 years, the NHS students have collected donations to help a family at Christmas.  The NHS sponsors a class competition to see which class can raise the most money.  The class that wins, gets a party! And, all the money collected goes to purchase Christmas gifts and/or food for a families in our community.  

Class donations will be from Nov. 7 – Dec. 8, 2023.

This is wonderful time to teach students the importance of giving and helping those in need.  I know that times are uncertain and have been hard due to the Coronavirus Pandemic; however, any amount of donation is greatly appreciated!

Collection jars are in classes and there is one in the school office.

The NHS students would like to thank everyone for participating and donating to this wonderful cause.

The KISD School Board is also hosting a TOY DRIVE

This Toy Drive will help the NHS and toys will be distributed back to our Kopperl students.  There is a Class Competition – the class that collects the most toys will get to go on a field trip!
