From the desk of Mr. Kenneth Bateman, Kopperl ISD Superintendent
Mr. Kenneth Bateman, former Superintendent to Meridian ISD and Brock ISD, came out of retirement to join our staff January of 2006. He is married with two children; a son and a daughter. He also has 4 grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf and working in his yard.
Mr. Bateman graduated from Gruver High School in Gruver, Texas where he met his wife. They both attended Howard Payne University and eventually got married. Mr. Bateman got both his bachelor and master degrees there. Then after a while went back to get his superintendent certification.
When asked what his plans were for our school, he replied that he will try to build good relations with co-workers because he believes that to be successful, we must all work together.
